Glimmer Mist

I "discovered" Glimmer Mist at the Scrapbook Expo today - where have I been!?  I love this stuff!  :)  Lauren Ferguson taught a Make & Take at the Tattered Angels booth - here's what we made...

The cover of the book is one large tag, folded, with two small tags inside.

I bought a set of "warm" colors and several different masks (from various booths), and spent a happy hour playing with them when I got home today!  I needed a birthday card, so I used one of the masked designs to make one...

I took a piece of plain white cardstock and sprayed the left side with yellow Glimmer Mist.  I placed the flower mask over the left side, then sprayed with red, blue, and gold mists.  Once dry, I folded and adhered to a pre-cut piece of yellow cardstock, then stamped and embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment.  I can't wait to get some more colors!  :)

Digital Template

Template-1-web

I wanted to do a digital layout of our 4th of July cookout - and I needed it to hold a lot of photos!  This is a very simple template, but will hold 17 photos - almost 6 4x6 photos, and 11 2x2's.

I will share my layout later, but thought I would share the template - this is my first attempt at a template, so I hope it works for you!  :)

Everyone Can Write a Little - Pages

I am taking Cathy Zielske's "Everyone Can Write a Little" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking.  I shared the album I decorated for the class a couple of weeks ago, and now I have made a few pages for it... the pages are based on my Facebook posts.

(Pages are cut approximately 5x5, then matted on a 6x6 paper - I am using kraft cardstock.)

While on vacation in Charleston, my mom and I went on a "Charleston Stroll", a walking tour in historic downtown.  It was lovely and very interesting.
