I am taking Cathy Zielske's "Everyone Can Write a Little" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I shared the album I decorated for the class a couple of weeks ago, and now I have made a few pages for it... the pages are based on my Facebook posts.
(Pages are cut approximately 5x5, then matted on a 6x6 paper - I am using kraft cardstock.)
While on vacation in Charleston, my mom and I went on a "Charleston Stroll", a walking tour in historic downtown. It was lovely and very interesting.

I signed up for my first - and last - Jessica Sprague class, and made this lovely little album for my Mom for Mother's Day! :)

(Journaling) Rebecca graduated from the University of South Carolina - Summa Cum Laude - Bachelor's Degree in Art Education. (The tag on the right includes the names of the people in the photo.)

Cathy recommended the American Crafts 6x6 album for our project. I covered it with Basic Grey papers from the Urban Prairie collection. The "wrap" on the cover is a design provided by Cathy, printed on kraft cardstock.
Here is my completed MOM word book... I used Basic Grey papers (Stella Ruby). The quotes are from Jessica Sprague's Scrapbook Alchemy class. (I made my mom a book based on the class, and used the quotes in this book for my mother-in-law as well.)
I punched and bound with the Bind It All. (Brass o-wires - love those!)
The photos are of Mike and his mom: one from his christening, and one from last year.

Yes, I am still working on Mother's Day gifts! :) Thought I would share this one... the pages are 6" tall, and the book will be almost 11" long. (I needed the height for my project.)
