Shopping... and Rock Band 2!

Had a nice, laid back day today... which included a trip to Best Buy to pick up the new Rock Band 2!  Love it!  We have played on and off all afternoon and evening!

Since we bought the set, we got a free kick drum screen - very colorful!  :)

And then we ran across the street to Joann's so I could get a new paper trimmer!  They had all their scrappy stuff 40% off, so I got the trimmer I wanted - and also got a scallop blade and some blade refills!  :)  And then I saw that they had some Love, Elsie stuff on clearance - and I saw this little album!  I love this!  I am going to use it to scrap pictures of me with my camera!  Sound silly?  I don't think so - I think it will be fun!  And Mike said it was perfect!  :)

At last - a Gold Guitar!

That's right - yours truly, aka Vixen, finished my solo tour on medium, and I have won the coveted gold guitar...

(You can't hear it, but "We Are the Champions" is playing right now...)  :)

Rock Band - Vixen :)

This is Vixen - my guitar-playing character in Rock Band.  Where did the name Vixen come from?  I have no idea... I have a singing Tracy (see a previous post), and a drum-playing Tracy, so I thought having a guitar-playing Tracy would be repetitive.

She's a pretty cool chick - I don't remember what attitude I chose for her, but it must be different from singing Tracy, because they do act differently.  It's fun.

I have to say that one of the best things about Rock Band is being able to design your own character - height, weight, attitude, hair style, hair/eye/skin color, tattoos, and when you pick out clothes, you can choose the main and detail colors for those as well.

Kinda like playing a very advanced version of paper dolls... ;)

Oh - and here is Vixen with the big-azz guitar that I won - I am about half-way through my solo tour (medium level).

We downloaded The Cars album for Rock Band last week - lots of fun to play!!

If you are into Guitar Hero, I downloaded the Def Leppard pack.  I am not crazy about it - Photograph and Rock of Ages are live versions, so they just don't sound like what I was expecting.

I did get 98% on Photograph though, first time out... :)  Love that song!

Rock Band - New High Score!

In case my brother is reading... I beat my high score tonight on Rock Band - during my "hard" solo tour!!  :)
